Located 35 km from the center of Hue city to the north, Phuoc Tich ancient village is quietly located on the bank of O Lau river, which separates Thua Thien - Hue and Quang Tri province. With an age of more than 500 years, Phuoc Tich ancient village is the second ancient village ranked "national monument" after Duong Lam Ancient Village.

In Phuoc Tich village, there are also invaluable physical heritages, including 27 old houses and 10 ancient family churches. At the village gate, we can see a 700-800-year-old tree and the temple worshiping gods. Inside the old houses are exquisite wooden architectural systems with rafters, doors, diaphragm, couplets to chairs, couches, horse pot (counter), altars, and cabinets. All of them are well-crafted and sophisticated carving stations that are not inferior to the wooden structures in the Nguyen Dynasty palace.
